On My Nails: Harvest Moon from the China Glaze Capitol Colours - Hunger Games Collection

Hey all, 

It's a well known fact that I change my nail polish about as often as I wash my hair, and I buy new nail polish as though it's going out of fashion. I bought the entire Hunger Games China Glaze collection a while ago and have tried most of the shades. Some I like, others I love, and some just don't seem to work out for me. 

This shade, I love. 

It's a gorgeous coppery metallic foil, that looks absolutely stunning on the nails. The formula is absolutely wonderful as well; it applies smoothly and is full of pigment!

On My Nails: Foie Gras from the China Glaze Capitol Colours - Hunger Games Collection

Hey all, 

I know, I know; I should be patient and wait until I make my China Glaze Capitol Colours - Hunger Games Collection post...but I needed to share! 

I love the Hunger Games trilogy, I love the movie and I love the polish collection; but most of all, I love this shade. Although the name represents a French delicacy I personally am not too fond of, that's the only thing about this colour that doesn't tickle my fancy. 

Foie Gras represents Disctrict 10 - Livestock of the Hunger Games and is a gorgeous dark, muted, brown-mauve shade. It could be described as a deep taupe with a hint of purple.

As all China Glaze polishes, it is 3 free. It also applies well, is easy to work with and is relatively long-lasting. 

Fabulously beautiful and office friendly! What more could a girl want?

On My Nails: Rimmel 60 Seconds in Grey Matter

Hey all, 

I must say that sometimes I surprise myself! I never thought that grey nail polish would be something that I would fall in love with; because let's face it, I'm the biggest girl and all for purple, pinks, reds and glitter - sometimes all at the same time! 

Regardless, this is a polish that I have been loving lately and have found myself reaching for it on many occasions! It's muted but beautiful at the same time, and matches absolutely everything!

The Colour 

A gorgeous muted, lighter grey shade. 

The Formula 

Rimmel 60 Seconds is one of my favourite formulas out there. It is easy to apply, has a wonderful brush, and is quick drying! To top that all off it is relatively long lasting as well.
