Purple & Orange OOTD
Hey all,
I haven't done an OOTD post in a little while and I figured that I should remedy yet! They are one of my favourite types of posts to both read and create; and I jumped at the first opportunity I had last week to take some pictures.
It has been starting to get colder here in Brisbane, so all my clothing with sleeves has come out to play! I adore both purple and orange...so I just chucked them together for a lunch date with the girls - and I like the way it turned out!
Enjoy!
The Outfit
Ally Dress/ Colette Belt/ Lovisa Necklace/ Wittner Shoes
Face
L'oreal Lumi Magique Foundation in Camel/ Australis HD Concealer/ MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in NC42/ MAC Blush in Pinch Me/ Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Trio in Walking on Eggshells/ Maybelline Kohl Express Eyeliner/ Essence Long Lasting Eyeliner in Khaki/ FOA Impact Curl Mascara
Look at my little plants grow!! It's very exciting, haha!
How are you changing your wardrobe as it gets colder? And what is your favourite colour for autumn/winter?
Hope you enjoyed this post, and that you have a great night! xx

I just love the colours in this outfit, and in particular adore the belt! I think that it brings everything together nicely. Also, if you haven't been to Supre in a while - I recommend heading in for basics. I went in the other day on a friend's recommendation, and was pleasantly surprised!

OOTD - Spicing Up Prac
Hey all,
I've never been a girl who could imagine herself in pinstripes, finely constructed business suits and endless amounts of black, grey and white. I've always known that it is a fear that I would have to one day face, and that fear knocked me in the face when I found out that I was doing my social work prac at a hospital. Oh my, cutting edge fashion is definitely not at home in the waiting room!
I refused to admit defeat, and over the past few months developed ways to sneak little bits of my personal style into otherwise exceedingly professional outfits!
Hope you enjoy!

Leopard Addiction Polyvore
Hey all,

I have been ill today, which is absolutely horrible the week before christmas!! So I have been feeling pretty useless, and have been playing with Polyvore (as always!).
I absolutely adore this outfit, and I wish it wasn't so stinking hot in Brisbane atm, so I could wear some representation of it! It's edgy, elegant and feminine all at the same time, and definitely represents my personal style.
I need those boots!!
$550 - lagarconne.com
GIVENCHY Rouge Interdit - No.53 - Rouge Céleste
£20 - harrods.com

OOTN Dinner Date
Hey all,
My first outfit post! Yay! My man's coming back into town tonight, and we are heading out to get scrumptious thai food so I though I would put a quick OOTN post up before I left!
It took forever to get a decent picture half because of the lighting, and also because my mother was taking them - who is inept with technology to say the least! (I'm sure we all understand that!)
Anyway, enjoy!

Wishing Upon a Star: October
Hey all,
Usually around this time in the month I know exactly what I am lusting after! So I thought I would introduce a monthly wish list, so you can all be a part of the arguments I have with my brain justifying purchasing all these goodies! They're usually products that are a little bit more expensive & I haven't been able to justify buying...yet, or they are products that I haven't had a chance to get to! Or simply can't get my hands on - living in Australia.
October's Wishes
- Tarte Starlet Limited Edition Palette
- L'oreal Lash Architech 4D
- China Glaze - Atlantis
- Wittner Cobalt Heels
- Urban Decay Naked Palette
Hope you enjoyed having a glimpse and what I can't take my eyes off, and I would love to hear what you are all wanting to blow your money on this month!
Hope you all have a great day! xx

eBay Accessories Haul - 11/10/11
Hey all,
Now I am a big sucker for eBay! Who wouldn't be? You can find everything and anything you would ever want or need, usually at much lower prices than anywhere else! I definitely make a hell of a lot of eBay purchases each month, usually consisting of bags, makeup, shoes and clothes, with the odd random purchase (iphone cases, adorable duck post its etc) thrown in here and there.
Lately I have jumped on the accessories bandwagon and absolutely can't get enough! Especially when the items feature turquoise or are just plain adorable. Because of this new obsession I have realised that accessories on eBay (new and preloved) are ridiculously cheap, and I bought all of the items underneath for under $20 all up!
Bargaaaaaiiiiiiiin! Yay!
They are all really good quality, arrived quickly & look fabulous on!
Definitely will be buying more very, very soon....I can't help myself.
Hope you all have a great day! xx

The Leopard Addiction Continues
Hey all,
I knew that when I started this blog tidbits of fashion would slip in here and there, after all, I am nearly as obsessed with fashion as I am with makeup! I think the two quite possible go hand in hand, I am sure you all agree...(any excuse will do!).
I have been drawn to leopard print, and I mean print, definitely not fur at all (I am against all things animal cruelty). Maybe it's just animal instinct or appreciation for mother nature and all her creations, but I can't seem to turn away from anything with leopard print on it.
I must have it all! Saying that, I picked up this gorgeous bag off eBay (oh eBay, how I love you so) for a ridiculously cheap $19.99. Yes, it did come from overseas but the quality is absolutely divine for the price! It's made well and looks sufficiently durable. Best of all, it does not look cheap at all!
As for space, it's not going to fit the entire kitchen sink in it but it's great for those days when you aren't carrying a lot, or just want a smaller bag to complete your look.
Long story short, I love it! It's moved straight onto my favourites shelf.
Kudos to the new purple baby camera! It seems to be earning its keep just fine :)
Oh, btw - while I was on my little eBay spree I also picked up a purple leopard print iPhone case & some leopard print bangles! Why not I say!
Hope you all have a great day! xx

Different Look with Unique French Home Accessories
Add some color to your everyday life with stunning hand-painted French tableware. Hand made in the Provence region of France, beautiful ceramic kitchen accessories can liven up all of your meals and are ideal for anything from a quick breakfast to special dinner parties with friends.
A touch of class can be added to even a simple meal with these unique home accessories. Your morning coffee can be brightened up by the vibrant designs on the kitchen accessories such as the coffee cups and crockery, whilst your garden can achieve that Provencal look with French garden pots and planters.
A ceramic teapot makes for a great conversation starter when friends come over for a cup of tea. Even simple everyday tasks like pouring a glass of water can be made more exciting with colored water jugs. You can feel like you are on holiday in the Provence all year round.
Hand-painted ceramics are wonderful as unusual and original gifts for friends and family or even just as home accessories for you. French pottery can provide the starting point for wonderful decorating ideas and can also be used as the focal design point of a room.
The designs are unique and eye-catching and can be an inspiration for home decoration and can be used as a color chart for home decoration inspiration for the whole house! The vivid colors and attractive designs on these unique decorations can cheer up even the greyest of days.
These gorgeous designs have been meticulously hand-painted on a range of kitchenware such as tagine pots, eggcups and wine coolers. There are French ceramics for every homeware need that you may have. A wonderful feature is that most items are dishwasher and microwave friendly, a rarity in hand-painted homeware.
Each region of the Provence has their own style of decoration which makes it so much fun to travel around and compare. There are wonderful potteries in the Drome Valley with family potteries where the husband produces great handmade ceramics while his wife hand paints them. Off to the kiln and out come the most gorgeous products of French home accessories and oven to table ware.
In the South the colors become a little brighter. There is a village North of Cannes with deep reds, blues and yellow that reminds one of honey. But again, the handmade and hand painted pottery items are all wonderful decorations for any kitchen and dinner table.
Enjoy travelling and taking in the different types of French home accessory making!
