Shabby Chic Inspiration - Round 2

Hey all,

This post is round two of shabby chic inspiration for me and my blog! I am currently in the process of redecorating certain rooms in my house - so I need all the inspiration that I can get! I am aiming to create spaces that are chic, cosy and gorgeous (of course)! Preferably with large amounts of purple...

If you know of any good inspiration sites or Pinterest users, link me to them! And on that note, add me on Pinterest to see many more pics like this!

The cutest laundry area.

Deep, rich purples.

Frills and floral.

Wouldn't this be the perfect place to read?!

And lastly, my dream kitchen colour! And people thought I was crazy when I said that I wanted purple...

Hopefully everything with my little renovations goes to plan! I shall try to grab before and after pictures for all of you to see.

Hope you all have a wonderful night! xx

Shabby Chic Inspiration

Hey all,

I'm at the point where I have decided that I want to change the look of most of my house. It's not that I don't like it, I do, I just feel that I have changed quite a bit as a person and I want my living spaces to represent that. I went from being a structured (possibly OCD, haha) person who loved all things modern, to one that has more of an appreciation for all that is old, unique and comfortable!

I think that I have just relaxed a little, so why shouldn't my house relax along with me?

These are just some gorgeous shabby chic decor pictures that I have found and will be using for inspiration; thought that I would share!

Warning: It is a little picture heavy!

Isn't that the most gorgeous wallpaper?!

So cute and quirky!

I could definitely see myself at that table!

I hope that you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think of these pictures/design ideas!

Have personal changes ever had an impact on your house style? How so? I'm curious!

Hope you all have a great night! xx

Have a Spare $100,000 Each Month?

Hey all,

Who has a spare $100,000USD laying around each month? I sure as hell don't, but if I did, I would seriously consider using it to rent out this amazing New York townhouse. It's owned by the director of Texas Chainsaw massacre (as well as other feature film masterpieces) and his wife, and they currently reside elsewhere - so anyone who can afford it (haha), can rent it out on a monthly basis!

It's not for sale as they may move into it at a later day, the lucky little things!

I have to say that this is my DREAM home, extra emphasis on the dream. I have looked at these pictures so many times and I cannot find one single fault!

Sorry, this is going to get picture heavy!

Library *tears of joy*

An indoor pool? Why not!

I don't think I would ever leave the rooftop garden!

Strategically placed chainsaw? Wonderful!

Skylights?! It just gets better and better.

Okay, so by now you know what I am talking about! This place is divine and the architects/owners have worked absolute wonders with it.

If anyone wants to rent it for me, I will be forever grateful!!

Hope you all have a great night! xx

Oh, and the outside isn't half bad either!
