On My Lips: FOA Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons

Hey all,

Almost everyone in the Australian beauty blogging world would have heard about these by now; but I love them so much that I couldn't help but write my own post! I've been trying a lot of jumbo lip pencils lately and had to grab the FOA Lip Crayons the second they were available. They have had a lot of love since then!

The Shades
Macaron - A deep pink.
Cupcake - A light and bright pink.
Sundae - A brown-nude.

What I Love
- Most of all, I love how they look like actual crayons - I am a sucker for anything adorable
- Great colours, reasonably pigmented for a tinted balm.
- Highly moisturising.
- Goes on smoothly and is easy to apply.

What I Don't
- Can't buy them individually.
- Wish they had more shades!

Where to Buy: Big W

Price: $14.95 for 3.

On My Lips

Macaron

Cupcake

Sundae

I think that these are wonderful! Sundae is my personal favourite, as it's a great 'my lips, but better' shade for me.

If you do decided to give these a try, remember that they are a 'sheer' lip product - so you won't get packed on colour. They are perfect for a more natural, muted look though.

Have you tried these? Which one is your favourite?

Hope you all have a great night! xx

I will leave you with this.

My soul! It aches!

Face of Australia Impact Curl Mascara Review

Hey all,

This post is going to be short and sweet, as I have a pile (well, two) assignments to finish tonight get to.

Face of Australia has been one of my absolute favourite brands recently, and when I read a review of this mascara on Shopping Intervention, I just had to buy it!

And after giving it a go for a couple of months, I want to have its babies.

What I Love
- Lengthens and lifts, with a definite curl achieved.
- Doesn't smudge or budge.
- Wand separates and coats each individual lash.
- Doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes.
- The wand doesn't get goopy.
- Formula is neither too wet, or too dry.
- Great price!

Where to Buy: Priceline, Big W and Kmart.

Price: $11.95

On Me

The right lash (one on the left side of the picture) has no mascara, and the other has 2 coats of Impact Curl!

Amazing results!

Buy it and try it I say!

If you want to read another great review of this mascara, the lovely Tegan has a post on Tegania's Thoughts.

Hope you all have a great night! xx

On My Lips: FOA Lip Quench in Ruby Delight

Hey all,

Yes, I know, another red lipstick. But I honestly can't help myself, I love red lips a little bit too much! I absolutely adore Face of Australia's Lip Quenches and have a small range of shades, but this is definitely one of my favourites. This shade has become a 'handbag regular' and usually follows me wherever I may go.

The Formula
FOA lip quenches are hydrating, highly pigmented and reasonably long lasting - around 4-5 hours without eating or drinking. It contains shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin E, as well as having SPF30+.

The Shade
A gorgeous, darker, wearable red. The name suits it well, as it is really a rich and vibrant ruby red!

What I Love
- The colour - it really is an amazing red & one that I treasure in my collection.
- Highly pigmented - you can achieve an amazing look with just one swipe.
- Nourishing and moisturising.
- Long lasting and wears off evenly.
- A complete bargain!!

What I Don't
- I love absolutely everything about this lipstick!

Swatch

FOA lipsticks are always sold out at my local Priceline, so it took me a while to pick up this particular shade - I am so glad that I did! It's a wonderful red that creates such a classic look. This would definitely be one to try if you are scared of brighter reds!

Have you tried any FOA Lip Quenches? Which one is your favourite?

Also, I have finally got my paws on Malibu Barbie!! Also a Lip Quench, it is a wonderful beauty favourite that has evaded me for months! It is definitely a good day.

Hope you all have a great night! xx

Face of Australia Blush Review

Hey all,

I am definitely a big fan of FOA products in general. They are cheap, and are usually amazing quality for  the price. So of course I had to try their blushes! They only have three in their range currently, which is a bit disappointing; but the three they have are such pretty, wearable shades, that I think would suit any skin tone!

Although they aren't as pigmented as some other blushes (for example, MAC & NARS), they definitely add some gorgeous colour to your cheeks!

These are definitely going to get a lot of use this summer!

Nutmeg, Primrose & Terra
What I Love
- Absolutely gorgeous shades, that would suit any skin tone
- Don't leave a powdery look
- Easy to apply and blend
- just the right amount of shimmer
- Packaging is simple, sleek and stylish
- Cheap!

What I Am Not So Crazy About
- Not very pigmented, you do have to apply them with a heavier hand (especially if you have dark skin like me)
- Tiny shade range with only 3 shades available

Swatch

Nutmeg, Primrose & Terra
As you can see from the swatch, they do leave a gorgeous hint of shimmery colour to my skin. They do have a decent amount of pigment to them & would swatch a lot brighter on lighter skin tones.

Price: $9.45

Where to Buy: Priceline, Big W, K-Mart and online at Fashion Addict

Hope you all have a great day! xx

Product Rave: Face of Australia Strengthening Nail Polish Remover

Hey all,

One day I was in a rush and realised that my chipped, grubby remnants of fire engine red nail polish desperately needed to be removed. So, I purchased the first polish remover I came across - Face of Australia's Strengthening Nail Polish Remover.

And...guess what? I absolutely adore it! It is definitely going to be my new HG of nail polish removers.

Reasons I Love It
- A little goes a long way
- It doesn't smell too strong/doesn't have that horrible chemical odour
- I feel that my nails are actually stronger since beginning to use it
- The product & brand is against animal testing!
- It's cheap - at $3.99

This product can be purchased wherever FOA is stocked - Big W, Target, K-mart & Priceline (that I know of).

Hope you all have a great day! x
